How client-side conversion works
Traditional online converters upload your JPG file to their servers, process it there, then send back a Word file. Your data crosses the internet twice and sits on someone else's machine in the middle. ConvertiZen uses WebAssembly to run the entire conversion pipeline locally in your browser. The JPG→Word process happens on your CPU, using your RAM. Our server never sees a single byte of your file.
FAQ
Is my JPG file uploaded to convert it to Word?
Never. WebAssembly converts it locally in your browser.
Is this safe for confidential JPG files?
Yes. Nothing leaves your device during or after conversion.
Can ConvertiZen access my JPG file content?
No. We have no technical ability to see your files — they never reach our servers.
What happens to my JPG file after conversion?
Nothing. It stays in your browser memory, which is cleared when you close the tab.
Is this GDPR-compliant?
Yes. No personal data or file content is processed on our servers.
